Privacy policy

This policy explains how 24social uses personal information on www.24social.io. It covers this marketing website. It does not cover customer websites built on Enterprise or My Place, or the support portal at support.24social.io, which have their own notices.

Who we are

24social is the controller for personal information collected on this website. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 03597321), 39 The Metro Centre, Tolpits Lane, Watford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, WD18 9SB. Email team@24social.io to ask a question or use the rights below.

What we collect

• Messages you send us. The contact form asks for your name, email address, company, how many venues you run, and your message. We use that to reply. Company and venue count are optional.
• A call you book. Book a call opens a Google Calendar page. If you book a time, Google collects the details of that appointment under its own privacy policy. We receive the booking so we can hold the call.
• How the site is used, if you accept cookies. Google Tag Manager runs Google Analytics 4. We may add PostHog for the same purpose. That can include pages viewed, a rough location from your IP address, device and browser, and how you arrived. We do not use this for advertising. See the cookie policy.
• Support widget, if you accept cookies. The Productlane widget lets you open help and the changelog. If you send a message through it, Productlane processes that message so we can reply.

If you decline cookies, we do not load analytics or the support widget. You can still use the contact form and read the site.

Why we use it

• To answer an enquiry and, if we both want to, to talk about working together.
• To understand which pages are useful and to keep the site working, where you have accepted cookies.
• To meet a legal duty, if one applies.

Replying to you is necessary to respond to your request. Analytics and the support widget rely on your consent, which you can withdraw from Cookie settings in the footer.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the services that run this site:

• Resend, which delivers the contact form to our inbox.
• Google, for Analytics and for the appointment page if you book a call.
• Productlane, if you use the support widget.
• PostHog, if we switch it on, and only after you accept cookies.

Some of these providers process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we use the safeguards required by UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we need them to reply and to follow the conversation, then deleted in the ordinary course of looking after our inbox. Your cookie choice stays on your device until you change it or clear the browser. Analytics data is kept for the period set in those tools, which for Google Analytics can be up to fourteen months.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, or to object. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We will respond within one month.

Children

This website is written for hospitality businesses. It is not aimed at children.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and the date at the top.
