The RedCat Pub Company obtained 42 of Stonegate’s sites in mid-2021. We were recommended as a resource and chosen as a supplier, following a successful demo of our products & services.
The RedCat Pub Company has plans to acquire more venues, and they seek a digital partner to manage their digital needs while taking care of vital, non-digital tasks. They have an ambitious plan to obtain pubs across the eastern, south eastern, and southern parts of the UK. Digital is critical; however, they also need the time and resources to establish themselves in the market, build teams, and set up vital business systems.

The business needed a well-rounded online presence for its newly acquired venues. RedCat’s specific requirements included:
- A new website for each RedCat Pub venue
- A smooth transition to 24social to avoid losing out on revenue or bookings
- A partner that could look after all things digital, particularly in the short term
24social is a digital platform that MVG Media created specifically for the hospitality industry. This meant that a lot of the system prerequisites were already built and were ready for use. We had a fixed timeline to migrate these websites and having such a solution in place saved a lot of time and money from the outset.

With sites being transferred by certain dates, it was key to ensure a seamless trading transition for the RedCat team and manager at the venue. We ensured a timeframe that delivered a strong foundational website with the expectation of further development throughout our partnership with RedCat Pub Company.
Design and Build of a New Company Website
With many years of experience in designing user experiences in the hospitality industry, we were able to discuss the best practices in this field as well as listen to the requirements RedCat had.
The UI is a clean approach to creating a directory of sites and pages that users can easily navigate through to find out more about the company or an individual location. Branding is found with the colours and “whiskers” found in the logo of the brand.
Users can find places by searching by their own location as well as by category of pub or inn.
The ongoing development of the websites allows us to ensure that the features built are desirable for the users and useful for the business.
Redcat wanted to keep their existing booking system (Design My Night) created by Collins - one of the most popular booking platforms in the hospitality industry. Our Collins integration allowed their venues to seamlessly continue their practice and for bookings to continue streaming in.
We have the ability to bulk upload information to the new RedCat database allowing for a super-quick onboarding process. There are some pieces of media that do require a bit more attention so we have helped RedCat with finding strong imagery, videography and more.
Our time with the company has allowed them to:

- Establish their online presence as an exciting, new hospitality brand
- Seamlessly take online table bookings
- Continue to obtain venues, sites, and get those up and running
