Find out what's new on the 24social platform. We are constantly releasing features and optimising the platform to ensure it's the best possible user experience. Check in regularly for updates.
With this feature addition, you can now create structured, editor-friendly forms by dividing them into tabs. Learn More
We have introduced the ability to export some or all your content form items to CSV. This is very useful for analysing data at scale across all content items. Simply click the new export icon when viewing your content form and select the fields you want to export.
The table is an integral part of our platform. We've made some usability and performance improvements to keep things slick and bug-free. You can also now search items within the table itself in addition to the main dashboard search.
You can now organise the side panel of the assets tab even further by nesting folders:
Users can now embed a YouTube video directly into our native rich text editor simply by pasing in the video URL:
When selecting a referenced item, the experience for selecting one or more has been drastically improved. You can now search and filter through the items you would like to bring in.
Editors are now able to edit the data of referenced material without leaving the page they are on. This speeds up the editing workflow drastically and helps users quickly update linked content.
We have added more context to the platform search where place records now show the location they are in for easier deciphering between places with the same or similar names.
Editors now have the ability to create a folder directly when uploading an asset to the assets tab of their account. This allows for faster uploading and publishing of content while organising things in the desired way.
We've introduced a way to see what assets are being used and if they are, exactly where.
When clicking on an asset in the assets tab, you will now see a new tab called "References". This will show you everywhere that asset is being used. Clicking on a row will take you to the content item that is referencing it too!
When creating a place, there are several default pieces of information your customers need to definitely be aware of. You can now visually see a separation between what we have created as "system fields" and any custom fields you have appended to your places content form.
For us this means we can control the formatting of important data as well as use it to display insights for you in the future. For you this means your most important information is always formatted in the best way possible within 24social as well as your websites.
We've added a button on the places tab to allow you to quickly export place data.
After clicking on "Export", be sure to select one or more places on the left column and add some data options from the right column.
Your likely to need the place name so don't forget to check that on your way!

General bugs and improvements have been made to the place manager mode ensuring stability and ease of use across all devices.
Buckets are now campaigns. Campaigns are groups of content from various areas of the dashboard that can easily be accessed via the content tab.
We've spent the Christmas period optimising the platform and ensuring all of our dependencies are as up to date as possible. This will all result in an even faster experience using 24social. We've also amended a few bugs to ensure nothing gets in anyone's way!
Content forms will now automatically rename themselves across the dashboard to be plural. This makes it easier for users to understand that they are collections with items inside rather than individual items.
A huge development for the 24social is the place manager mode. Administrators can now assign specific places (yes you can assign more than one) to a unique user set as a venue manager as their role. Once logged in, the venue manager has a unique minimalist view of the data that relates to the place they have been given access to edit. If you control the content for multiple places, you can easily switch between them using the dropdown at the top of the screen.
We've made sure this is accessible on mobile too so managers are only a few clicks away from being able to update their key details on the fly as and when then need to.
We'll keep developing this area further as time goes on to also include an approval process for administrators to check content updated by place managers.
Our search has been re-developed to be slicker, quicker and easier to locate what you need. Start typing in the searchbar and see places, content and assets come up that relate to your search query as you type. Just hit the slash icon on your keyboard ( / ) to open up the searchbar.
Content block groups allow users to quickly add a set list of content blocks to their content form. We've initially added fields which are formatted to collect the key information customers expect to find when searching for a place online. We'll be adding more to this area very soon so keep an eye out for future updates.
We now allow the ability to add new and existing images from your library into the text editor. This is useful for adding media inline as required on your website pages.
After you’ve created a content item, you may wish for it to be published, then unpublished on certain dates. We’ve reformatted the scheduling area to allow you to schedule to your hearts content. Simply add an action you wish to take place on a certain date such as a publish or unpublish hit save and this action will be performed on the set date. You will see an overview of actions against each content item but also by clicking the schedule button on the content form overview page.
You can now choose to make a content field non-editable when configuring it in the content form editor. This is especially useful for when you have data feeding into your 24social account from an API or external source that you do not wish to be editable by users.
We have improved the ability to access our help and support files by adding a help dropdown inside the dashboard. It is also useful for letting us know of any issues you encounter when using the 24social dashboard.
